The feral cat is found in most habitats across Australia. It has caused the extinction of some species on islands and is thought to have contributed to the disappearance of many ground-dwelling birds and mammals on the mainland. On islands, feral cat control is feasible, but elsewhere management is difficult due to the lack of effective and humane broadscale control techniques, and the presence of domestic cats.
In Perth, Ferral Cats are now out of control, population sizes are on the incline. Every Perth suburb will now have its own population of feral cats roaming the streets, feeding from our garbage bins, spreading diseases and killing our native wildlife.
We are able to provide our clients with a humane cat trapping program which is designed to safely capture the animals and, if possible, attempt to re-house them with a new family.
